The Board has approved the Regional District’s 2024-2028 financial plan after considering final changes and public commentary received. The total budget stands at $69,811,626, with the total tax requisition set at $32,731,823 (increase of $2,898,543 over the 2023 requisition).

CCRHD Chair & Vice Chair election
Director Al Richmond (Area G) and Director Mary Sjostrom (Area A) were re-elected by acclamation as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Cariboo-Chilcotin Regional Hospital District. Williams Lake, BC – The bang of the gavel marked the end of the year for the Cariboo Regional District’s board of directors as they closed out their final meeting of 2023. While there remains some work to be wrapped up at the committee level, the group of sixteen directors will not be meeting as a group until January 11, 2024.

Board Chair and Vice-Chair election results
The Board held its annual election for the positions of Board Chair and Vice-Chair. Directors Forseth and Wagner were nominated for the position of Chair, and Director Wagner was elected.
