CRD Directors to Attend UBCM Conference

The CRD Board heads to Whistler Sept. 12th-16th for the Union of B.C. Municipalities convention and will meet with Ministers and provincial government ministries to discuss regional concerns. Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District Contributes to Replacement of New Equipment at GR Baker Memorial

The CCRHD Board adopted Bylaw. 200 which approves $400,000 in funding to Northern Health towards the GR Baker Memorial Hospital X-Ray replacement.  Bylaw No. 199 was also adopted at today’s meeting and $476,400 will be contributed to Northern Health towards the replacement of the Lab Chemistry Analyzers at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District

The Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District (CCRHD) adopted Bylaw No. 198 to fund 40% of the purchase of the Deni House Long-Term Care bus in the amount of $46,800.

Northern Health made a formal request for funding for the CCRHD’s portion of the following projects:

The CRD Board of Directors had their first ‘Board on the Road’ meeting since the pandemic struck in 2020 at Barkerville Historic Town and Park on the traditional territory of the Dakelh and Secwépemc people.
