Small scale housing to be permitted in all rural zones in the Cariboo

Funding for surgical equipment approved
The CCRHD Board has approved a $122,800 commitment to Northern Health’s purchase and installation of a new surgical tower at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel. A surgical tower is essential equipment for surgery encompassing various surgical specialization, and is required for most elective procedures. The new tower will replace one existing tower at the hospital, which has reached its end of life and no longer meets current surgical requirements.
