New emergency notification platform coming to the Cariboo-Chilcotin
Williams Lake, BC – Changes are coming for the regional Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System. Williams Lake, BC – A $7,000 grant from the Williams Lake Community Forest has funded training and new tools and equipment for Central Cariboo Search and Rescue (“CCSAR”). This has helped the organization maintain its critical public safety programs and maintain a high state of readiness.

Voters opt for ten-year fire truck loans in Interlakes and Miocene
Williams Lake, BC – The votes have been counted, and ten-year loans will be taken out to buy new fire trucks in Miocene and Interlakes. In Miocene, the vote tally was 97 to 26 in favour, while in Interlakes the tally was 195 to 34 in favour.
