Due to the July 1 Canada Day statutory holiday this week, Thursday's garbage collection in 108 Mile Ranch will take place on Friday. Wednesday garbage collection is unchanged.

Water sprinkling restrictions are in effect for all CRD water systems from May 1st to October 1st.
The water reservoirs needs time to recover from the peak demands of the day.
The use of water sprinklers varies for each water system, based on the amount of water available.
If continued violation of the water restrictions aren't observed, aggressive enforcement will occur, including turning off the water supply to the property if warranted....
