Quesnel Pool Referendum results in ‘No’ vote
Eligible voters reject plan to borrow $20 million for pool upgrade project
The Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Centre Pool Upgrade Referendum has concluded, with eligible voters casting 1001 ‘’No’ votes against borrowing up to $20 million dollars to proceed with pool renovations. Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Centre Pool Upgrade Referendum official results to be published Monday, June 21, 2021.
To accommodate the counting of mail-in ballots, the official results for the June 19, 2021 Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Centre Pool Upgrade Referendum will be released on Monday, June 21.
General Voting Day for the referendum is Saturday, June 19, 2021 (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
Qualified electors may vote at any of the above voting dates/locations.
