The Cariboo Regional District is advising all residents that the Boil Water Notice Issued on June 27th for the Benjamin Water System has now been rescinded effective immediately.
All residents may now resume normal water use. Northern Health gave the go ahead this afternoon to lift the advisory, as the two required consecutive test results came back all clear. The CRD would like to thank affected residents for their patience during this advisory.

Cariboo Regional District and BCGEU ratify new three-year collective agreement
Williams Lake, BC – The Cariboo Regional District and the BC General and Service Employees’ Union have ratified a new collective agreement, which will see a 12.5% wage increase over a three-year term. BCGEU staff ratified the agreement on Wednesday, July 3. This puts an end to the strike by BCGEU members, which lasted for over seven weeks.

Board discusses FireSmart strategy and how to move forward
