The CRD is dedicated to protecting water quality at the shorelines and developing with care. The Shoreland Management Policy was developed to reduce environmental impacts of development along lakes and watercourses within the Cariboo Regional District. Consideration of compliance with the policy is triggered by land use planning applications including subdivision, rezoning, and official community plan amendments.
