Not afraid of hard work, Daniel Braaten and Neale Ward are energized by running their own microbrewery and restaurant in 100 Mile House. Motivated to make the move from the Lower Mainland by the quality and pace of life offered in the Cariboo, Daniel and his partner purchased their dream house in 2021 and have not looked back. While attending their housewarming party Neale, a friend from the Lower Mainland, was inspired by the natural beauty and opportunities and bought the house next door within six months. Their spouses found work in the warm and welcoming community and have embraced life without traffic, commutes, and the hustle of urban sprawl. Unwinding with a cold drink in the privacy of their deck, surrounded by trees and quiet, is the ideal way for these four to end a day.
