Summary:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) issued by the Cariboo Regional District (“the Region”) is
an invitation to experienced and qualified respondents to submit non-binding quotations for the
provision of Food Waste Compost Management – Central Cariboo as further described in the
RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Region has purchased a 40-foot “Earth Flow” in-vessel compost unit from Green Mountain
Technologies (GMT) and expects delivery to the Central Cariboo Transfer Station in Williams
Lake between July and September 2025.
The successful respondent will assist the Region with the site design/layout, advise on
requirements of provincial composting regulation(s), be directly responsible for operating and
maintaining the composter, and manage compost through the curing stages.
