MOTI provides an update on the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects
Greg Bruce, Director, Cariboo Road Recovery Projects, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, joined the meeting to provide a progress update on the project. Changing weather patterns have hit the Cariboo particularly hard in recent years, contributing to hundreds of landslides and road washouts in 2020 and 2021. The Cariboo Road Recovery Projects are restoring access where feasible. The program is designing and building transportation infrastructure that is resilient and dependable for communities and road users for the long term. More information about the project and areas it is focused on can be found on the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects webpage.
