The Cariboo Regional District has issued a Boil Water Notice to users of the Alexis Creek Water System pursuant to a request of a Drinking Water Officer under Section 14 of the Drinking Water Protection Act. This Notice will remain in effect until further notice.
The Cariboo Regional District's water systems are tested regularly to ensure they meet public health regulations. This boil water notice is being issued due to low pressure caused by a hydro pump failure. Repairs will be underway.
All users of the Alexis Creek Water System are asked to bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute before using water from the system for:
