The Cariboo Regional District has issued a Boil Water Notice to the Lexington Water System users pursuant to a request of a Drinking Water Officer under Section 14 of the Drinking Water Protection Act. This Notice remains in effect until further notice.
The Cariboo Regional District's water systems are tested regularly to ensure they meet public health regulations. This boil water notice is being issued due to recent reservoir cleaning and will remain in effect until water quality testing is completed.
All users of the Lexington Water System are asked to bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute before using water from the system for:
