CRD election results now official
Four new Directors will be joining the Cariboo Regional District (CRD) Board of Directors for the 2022-2025 term. Eric De Vries was acclaimed Director of Area L on September 20th, along with area directors in Electoral Areas A, B, C, D, F, G, and H.
Melynda Neufeld (Area E), Betty Anderson (Area K), and Tolin Pare (Area J) are new Directors elected as part of the local government elections that took place across the province. Incumbent Jim Glassford (Area I) will also remain as a Director for Area I following this year’s election results. A total of 852 ballots were cast throughout the four electoral areas. Representatives from the CRD’s four member municipalities; the District of 100 Mile House, the City of Quesnel, the City of Williams Lake and the District of Wells, will be appointed during their respective inaugural meetings.
The CRD’s inaugural meeting for the new Board of Directors will take place on Thursday, November 10th, at which time they will take their oath of office.
