The Cariboo Regional District has rescinded the Boil Water Notice for the Horse Lake Water System. Residents no longer need to boil water from the system before consuming it.
Interior Health authorized the end of the boil water notice after receiving two satisfactory samples from the water system, and after confirmation that all maintenance activities has been completed.
Residents are reminded that a Water Quality Advisory for Manganese remains in effect. Questions about the health impacts of manganese in drinking water should be directed to a family doctor.
