CRD hoping to hear from more than 1000 residents
WILLIAMS LAKE, BC - June 30 is the final day to participate in the Cariboo Regional District’s Solid Waste Management Plan survey. The CRD is hoping residents and property owners from all areas of the region will help push the survey feedback to over 100O respondents.
“Last week we saw a great response to our call-out for more submissions from the people of Quesnel, notes CRD Supervisor of Solid Waste Management Tera Grady. “But we still want to hear from more residents from across the region. It would be great if we could get more than 1,000 surveys completed. Every response adds to our understanding of the solid waste management needs and wants of our residents, which will allow us to better service them in the future.”
Survey Responses to date (as of June 28, 2021)
The survey results will provide guidance on solid waste management options to consider for feasibility. As an incentive to fill out the survey, ten $100 gift cards will be awarded to residential and business participants! When the initial phase of consultation is completed, Cariboo residents will be invited to provide feedback in a second survey evaluating the feasibility and cost of new solid waste diversion.
