Summary:
Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the Airside Rehabilitation Project at the SOUTH CARIBOO REGIONAL AIRPORT. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received at the Cariboo Regional District (180D N. 3rd Avenue, Williams Lake, BC V2G 2A4) until 2:00pm on July 5th, 2023.
The work generally involves the following scope of work:
- Pulverization of the existing airfield pavements,
- New granular base,
- New paving new Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete,
- Pavement line line markings, and
- Electrical Replacements
The work is scheduled to begin August 8, 2023.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained by prospective bidders via BC Bid. Tender documents
are available as of June 7, 2023.
A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and
an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a
50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
There will be a PRE-BID MEETING/SITE TOUR on June 14 at the South Cariboo Regional Airport. The
meeting will begin at 1:30 pm at the Airport Maintenance Building. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is not
mandatory.

Closing Time: 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.
