The Water Quality Advisory & Boil Water Notices issued by the Cariboo Regional District effective June 16th for the Russet Bluff Water System remain in effect. The reservoir cleaning and system flushing have been completed and we have switched the water supply to the lower well. Routine bacteriological water sampling and microscopic particle analysis (MPA) sampling has been taken. Once satisfactory results are reported from the required testing, customers will be notified, and the Boil Water Notice will be rescinded. The Water Quality Advisory for manganese will remain in place until the water source is switched back to the upper well.
