Evacuation Alert for Chelaslie River Arm & Tatelkuz Lake Area

Three properties within the Alert Area

 

Cariboo Regional District - An Evacuation Alert has been issued by Cariboo Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) for the Chelaslie Arm and Tatelkuz Lake area located in Electoral Area I of the Cariboo Regional District as a result of the Chelaslie River fire. 

The Evacuation Alert covers the following area: 

North of Ootsa Main Forest Service Road and West of Red Road and along north/south boundary between the Cariboo Regional District, in Electoral Area I, and the Bulkley Nechako Regional District, and including all properties located around Tatelkuz Lake. 

People living in, or travelling through the areas that have been affected by the recent wildfires should use caution as some hazards, such as dangerous trees or hot spots, may be present. Please be aware that fire suppression activities will still be underway within these areas.
