Career Opportunity - Utilities Operator

Applications are hereby invited for the full-time position of Utilities Operator within the Cariboo Regional District.

The successful candidate will possess valid Environmental Operator Certifications commensurate with the Cariboo Regional District facilities for Wastewater Collection Level I, Water Distribution Level I, and Small Water Systems.  The successful candidate must live within 20 minutes of 100 Mile House to facilitate standby duties and possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License as a condition of continued employment.  

This is a BCGEU position. The current rate of pay is $34.45 per hour and a 35-hour workweek. A 90-day probationary period will apply. The workweek schedule may vary and therefore the applicant must be able to work weekends, rotating shifts and some overtime.
