Evacuation Alert lifted for Chelaslie River Arm & Tatelkuz Lake

Cariboo Regional District – The Evacuation Alert for residents in the Chelaslie River Arm and the Tatelkuz Lake Area has been lifted by the Cariboo Regional District’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). The Chelaslie Arm and Tatelkuz Lake area is located in Electoral Area I of the Cariboo Regional District. This area has been on Evacuation Alert since July 29, 2014. 

People living in, or travelling through the areas that have been affected by the recent wildfires should use caution as some hazards, such as dangerous trees or hot spots, may still exist. Please be aware that fire suppression activities will still be underway within these areas.
