CRD Board Highlights - March 27, 2020

In response to COVID-19 board meets online

In recognition of the need for physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital Board and Cariboo Regional District board met using video-conferencing today. Director Bob Simpson, and Chair Margo Wagner attended in person to chair today’s CCRHD and CRD  board meetings respectively.

CRD and CCRHD Meeting Highlights

Hospital Board 5 Year Financial Plan approved

The Board of Directors received, and gave 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reading to Bylaw No. 156, 2020 (Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Hospital District Five Year Finacial Plan). The bylaw was adopted.

Mt Timothy zoning change

The CRD Directors approved Bylaw No. 5252 changing the zoning at 5396 and 5398 Timothy Lake Road from Tourist Commercial (C2) and Resource/Agricultural to solely Tourist Commercial (C2).

South Cariboo Transit agreement renewed

A proposed renewal of the South Cariboo Transit contribution agreement with the District of 100 Mile House was approved. The agreement is for three years.

Bouchie Lake telecom tower approved

To provide TELUS wireless communication services in the Bouchie Lake area, the Board approved a TELUS proposal to allow a wireless telecommunications facility at 1438 Paley Road, Bouchie Lake, BC within Electoral Area 'B'

CRD Five Year Financial Plan Approved

Bylaw No. 5263, 2020 (Cariboo Regional District 2020 Five Year Financial Plan) was received, given 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reading, and approved.

Revenue Anticpation Borrowing bylaw approved

Bylaw No. 5265, 2020 (Revenue Anticipation Borrowing bylaw) was received, given 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reading, and approved.
