bull canyon

The Bull Canyon Provincial Park Low Mobility Trail is located six kilometres west of Alexis Creek, on Highway 20 and opened in July 2019.

Approximately 1,000 metres long and featuring a packed, crushed gravel surface, the trail travels through forest, offering views of the glacial blue Chilcotin River and passes indigenous pit houses. The trail has a viewpoint near the river, an accessible outhouse nearby and plenty of parking space. The trail has a gentle grade with one gentle hill.

At the trailhead, an information kiosk displays a map of the Bull Canyon Provincial Park Low Mobility Trail.

The trail was built in partnership between the Cariboo Regional District, the Alexis Creek Community Services and Development Society, BC Parks, Northern Development Initiative Trust, and the provincial government. Ongoing management of the site is provided by BC Parks.
