Boil Water Notice for Telqua Dr. Area-108 Mile Water System Users

The Cariboo Regional District has issued a Boil Water Notice effective November 18th, to the Telqua Dr. Area-108 Mile Water system users pursuant to a request of a Drinking Water Officer under Section 14 of the Drinking Water Protection Act. This Notice remains in effect until further notice.

The Cariboo Regional District's water systems are tested regularly to ensure they meet public health regulations. A shut off of the Telqua Dr. Area - 108 Mile Water System will occur at approx. 12:45 p.m. November 18th, for repairs to the water main on Telqua Dr. 


All users of the Telqua Dr - 108 Mile Area Water system (see attached map) are asked to bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute before:
Drinking (or use an alternate, safe source of water)
Cooking (if not boiled)
Brushing teeth
Washing Dishes
Washing fruits or vegetables to be eaten raw
Watering animals
Also, please use hand sanitizer after washing hands.

The Cariboo Regional District has contacted Interior Health to request their cooperation in investigating this matter.

This notice remains in effect unless and until another public notice is issued upon the request of a Drinking Water Officer. If you have further questions, please call the Environmental Services department at 1-800-665-1636 during regular office hours.
