Slaughter License Letter

Please fill out the online form to submit a Slaughter License Letter Request.

Licensing for slaughtering and meat production is administered by the Province of BC. The Cariboo Regional District is not responsible for reviewing or approving these license applications.

We regulate these land uses as a matter of zoning. As part of your application, you may be required to provide proof that your property is permitted to be used for slaughter or meat production purposes.

You can submit a request for a letter of confirmation to the Planning Department.
