Education

From pre-school to post-secondary, educational options to meet the needs of you and your family can be found in the Cariboo.

Two school districts administer public education in the Cariboo. School District 27 covers the southern part of the region from 100 Mile House to Williams Lake. School District 28 services schools to the north including Quesnel, Wells and Nazko. Online and remote learning options are available for students who cannot attend regular classes, and boarding opportunities are available for secondary students who live too far from school to commute daily.

A variety of private school options are available for families seeking educational programs outside of the public system.
