The Cariboo Regional District has issued an evacuation order for the Fiftynine Creek (Pear Lake) Fire Area.

Fiftynine Creek (Pear Lake) Area Order Area affects approx. 366 parcels and 269 house points in 8,913 Hectares.
Due to immediate danger, you must leave the area.
- If it is safe to do so, check in with friends or neighbours that may need help.
- Take pets in pet kennels or on leash.
- Take critical items (medicine, wallet, and keys) only if they are immediately available.
- Close all windows and doors; Close gates (latch) but do not lock.

- Do not use the telephone unless you need emergency service.
- Do not use more vehicles than you have to.
To receive Emergency Support Services, please self-register using the Evacuee Registration & Assistance (ERA) tool at www.ess.gov.bc.ca/ (if not already done).
Due to limited accommodation availability, residents who are able to arrange their own accommodation with friends, family, or other available options are encouraged to do so. Emergency Support Services remain available for those who require assistance.
If you have homeowners’ or tenants’ insurance, contact your insurance provider to arrange for living expenses such as accommodation and food.
Emergency Support Services will be provided only if your primary residence is on an evacuation order.
Residents who choose not to evacuate should understand they stay at their own risk. Responders may not be able to come to your rescue if it is unsafe to do so.
