Lac La Hache Library Temporarily Closing for Building Renovations
LAC LA HACHE, BC – The Lac La Hache Library will temporarily close this summer to accommodate building renovations at the facility that houses the library.
The closure is expected to begin in late June and continue for approximately two months while renovation work is completed. The improvements are being undertaken as part of a broader project within the building and require the temporary closure of the library space.
During the closure, library users are encouraged to visit neighbouring community libraries, including the libraries in 100 Mile House and Forest Grove. Library cards valid at all Cariboo Regional District library branches, making it easy to borrow and return materials at any location.
Residents can also continue to access digital resources through the library system, including eBooks, audiobooks, online learning resources, research databases, and other online services.
Updates regarding the closure and reopening timeline will be shared as information becomes available throughout the renovation project.
The Cariboo Regional District appreciates the public's patience and understanding while these improvements are completed. The renovations will help ensure the facility continues to provide a welcoming and functional space for library users for years to come.
