Request for Proposals for Property Condition Assessments for CRD Fire Halls

Invitation to Proponents

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Cariboo Regional District (“the Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Condition Assessments for CRD Fire Halls and Central Cariboo Search and Rescue building as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The Region encompasses an area of approximately 80,000 square kilometers ranging from Lac Des Roches in the Southeast, to just north of 70 Mile House in the South to just south of Hixon in the North to Anahim Lake in the West to Likely in the East and Wells / Barkerville in the Northeast.

The Region currently owns and is responsible for the maintenance of approximately 19 Fire Hall buildings within the region that require a detailed assessment of the condition. This assessment must include structural, electrical and mechanical evaluations. The assessments should be detailed enough to provide the Region with the information required to develop a long term maintenance and asset management plan for each structure (including improving building efficiencies related to insulation, heating and electrical).

The assessment work is to be completed during the months of April, May and June 2027 with a full report and recommendations to be submitted to the Region no later than September 01, 2027.
