RFP - 26-019 Transfer Stations Management, Waste Hauling and Disposal
The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) is inviting qualified proponents to submit proposals for the provision of
Transfer Stations Management, Waste Hauling and Disposal as further described in the RFP
Particulars.
Transfer station management will include the supply of attendants to oversee three (3) sites (Lac
La Hache, Forest Grove, and Lone Butte); supply of waste collection bins; winter road
maintenance; wood and metal waste sorting and piling; handling of recyclables; delivering waste
reduction and recycling education to users; and share shed oversight. The waste collection,
hauling and disposal is required at the above-named sites as well as the Eagle Creek transfer
station, which is unmanned and consists of two Transtor tipper bins. All waste is to be disposed
of at the South Cariboo Landfill located in 100 Mile House. Hauling is paid for on a per tonne
basis.
