RFP - 26-003 Excavating and Retaining Wall for New 150 Mile VFD Fire Hall Building

Summary: The Cariboo Regional District has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for excavation and site preparation work related to the new 150 Mile Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall.

The new fire hall will be built on the same property as the existing fire hall at 3038 Pigeon Road, 150 Mile House, BC. This RFP covers early site preparation work that will take place before the main building contractor begins construction.

The scope of work includes:

• Excavation and removal of an existing bank and vegetation

• Transporting excavated material to another location on site

• Disposal of removed vegetation

• Supply and construction of a concrete Lego block retaining wall behind the new fire hall site
